annually and always make it to the headline. It is important to know their history, significance, and theme.
14 April: Baisakhi Day
It is a spring harvest festival that is celebrated every year on April 13 or 14 by members of the Punjabi
community. This year it is celebrated on April 14. It is one of the significant festivals for Sikhs, which is
observed in India and throughout the world.
21 April: Eid-Ul-Fitr
It is observed during the first three days of Shawl, the tenth month of the Islamic calendar, and marks the
conclusion of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting. It is customarily observed with a special meal, which
for many Muslims is their first meal during the day in a month.
