From Towards 75 to finally turning 75, the momentous occasion came and left an unforgettable mark on all our hearts. At the same time, we must be careful to ensure that the heady mix of celebration and elation does not cloud our judgment. The situation prior to 17th November 2025 and the situation today remain unchanged, and so do the challenges and responsibilities towards the Association. We also deeply mourn the passing of two stalwart Past Presidents, Shri S. S. Gaitonde and Shri Janak Rawal. To commemorate their decades of service to the Association, a Full Court Reference was held in memory of Late Shri Gaitonde Sir. It was a sombre occasion, and the loss of the senior-most member of our Association and a doyen of the tax fraternity is an irreparable one.
