The Month of July is a very hectic month for all Tax Professionals. As the due date of filing Income Tax Returns for Individual other than Audit cases is 31-07-23. Simultaneously GST Monthly and Quarterly returns also fall in same month. In view of this, the life of all Tax Professionals becomes hectic. Though Government is always sending the messages that don’t wait for last date to file returns to avoid rush but in real life the situation is altogether different. We all Tax Professionals have no alternative but to live in such situation. E-way bills are electronic documents generated for the movement of goods and payment of taxes. E-way bill generation came down to 8.60 crore in June as against 8.81 crore in May, but still higher than in April.
