India’s GST collection has been showing strong growth, reflecting economic resilience and increased compliance. In May 2025, the gross GST collection reached ₹ 2.01 lakh crore, marking a 16.4% year-on-year increase compared to May 2024. This is the second consecutive month that GST revenues have crossed the ₹ 2 lakh crore mark, indicating sustained economic activity.
