Introduction. The GSTPAM formerly known as the STPAM is celebrating it’s 75th Anniversary. At this juncture it will be useful to know about the association. I thank the President Adv Shri Parth Badheka for giving me an opportunity to dive deep in the past and dig out the important aspects and activities of the association. I am too young to write everything about the association but with the help of past issues of the Sales Tax Review now GST Review and available annual reports. The November 2000 issue of the Sales Tax Review, contained the year wise activities of the association from 31/03/1959 to 31/03/2000 which was compiled by Shri Y. R. Mukatiwala, the Past President, which helped me lot to prepare the history of the association.
