The story of our Association has never belonged to any one moment. It has unfolded through the voices of those who wrote with conviction, argued with clarity and carried an unbroken curiosity for how the law shapes the world around us.. A lot of these ideas showed up early in the Sales Tax Review, then later in the GST Review or popped up during different gatherings hosted by the group, where every piece mirrored both its era and the person behind it. A single look tells you these writings may have present relevance even though it was written for its own time, stretching back at least two and a half decades. You can see how the field didn’t just march forward step by step; instead, it shifted because our members argued, tried new things, studied deeply and yet always held on to clear thinking and honest expression.
