Dear Esteemed Members and Fellow Tax Professionals, As we step into the eighth year of GST implementation since July 1, 2017, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all stakeholders who have contributed to this remarkable journey of transformation. It is truly commendable that GST collections have almost doubled from the first year to the eighth year, demonstrating the robustness and success of this transformative tax reform. The GST collection for June 2025 has crossed ₹ 1,84,597 lakh crores, with Maharashtra leading the way with contributions exceeding ₹ 30,553 crores- significantly ahead of Karnataka (₹13,409 crores) and Gujarat (₹ 11,040 crores).
