Dear Members, It is a surreal feeling today, as it dawns on me that I am the President of The Goods and Services Tax Practitioners’ Association of Maharashtra in the 75th Year of its existence. I thank the Election Committee for electing me for this post. I also congratulate the outgoing President Mr. Mahesh Madkholkar, and his team, on a marvelous and eventful term and wish him great success in the future. I remember being in Ahmedabad when I was first attempting to enter the GSTPAM Managing Committee and there was a massive election for some officer bearers and also MCM Members. So nonchalant was I then, that I got to know about my election through several text messages. A decade later, here I am, given the honorable task of leading the Association for the term 2025-26 and it is now clear to me that the moment I first entered this hallowed Association, should have been celebrated with greater gusto than today.
