LAW WORKSHOP FOR THE BAR AND THE BENCH
From time immemorial it is said that learning of “LAW” is a great occupation. And, therefore, practice of law is called a noble profession. The strong Bar and the Bench are the backbone of the modern democracy. With the change of times and adoption of modern economy, tax laws have occupied a place of pride in the legal practice and a legal luminary in the name of Shri N. A. Palkhivala led the profession to its zenith. But what is the scenario today? Dismayed!
A time has come to say that in the mutual interests, both the Bar and the Bench of the Tribunal, must study the law together and if necessary, arrange workshop to do so from time to time. It is in this context, on noticing the deficiency and laxity in some quart.......
